After a long time... Someone dropped by to say "Hi" A Big Grey teddy; Wearing a Pink-Floral-bow-tie! No he wasn't sleeping... Nor was he in some kind of a hide! He simply was waiting... To be picked up & tossed around... Because my baby boy coco... Was wobbling on his hind paw! The pain was intense for two days And the meds sure made him "Spoof-me-up!" His restlessness & listlessness Along with those "ghostly stares!" Which would only wear off "When the food was served!" But after almost a fortnight, The wobbly unsound legs have found their strength... "And the teddy is back!" With an upturned-video; "Of such silly-naughtiness!" That truly serves no means To an end! . Love teaches you to be resilient...Coco & I have been together since he was two month old, as Atul travels often. And we've learnt to balance out the rhythm of being in pain, where he slows down when I'm unable to walk and I too do the same. Since my dengue episode, the last four months I couldn't do much and hence keeping a dog walker for Coco just barely helped us to stay afloat, but it did take a toll on him as he wasn't exercised enough and a few extra pounds triggered his episode with arthritis. He wasn't able to even get up on his own, but today after a long time I saw that glimmer of his well-being seeing that the teddy is out. . Copyright: Meghna/2017
