When He Needs Me!

Such sweetness he gave... As he lay besides me... For Atul; the perpetual Alpha... Whom otherwise he needs! Yet! This afternoon of snuggle-pain I shall cherish! As my hands kept rubbing his ears, while chanting The Gayatri! The warmth of a mothers love Is like a blanket in cold-cold night! And as we lay there...in embrace! Our love like breath...mingled its Fragrance...in the wintery-afternoon sky! . Usually when I'm physically down, Coco takes charge & will be besides me...but when he's not well, he turns to Atul. But this time it was different, both Coco & I just lay on the bed & he gave me this beautiful moment to share in pain. We had to surgically remove the wart on his lower right eyelid, and yesterday's day went by where he was drugged under anaesthesia and the effects of listlessness are still there today. Coco has always taken care of me every single day in these 10years, through my chronic pain. But, I guess our love has out-grown the alpha need too...because in this moment of excruciating pain, followed by intermittent cries, he chose me over Atul . Copyright: Meghna/2018
