After 15 years of hibernation, I feel an urge to travel light!...By letting out all that, That I in my 'Silence' bottled up inside. Some thoughts, some sketches, pictures & drawings...woven as poetry; the way I look at life.

Eyes wide open to the sky...

Along with Barks & intermediate Whine's...

This is the Great Indian mongrel...

A breed one of its kind...

For guarding its society premises...

Is No Monkeying Business;

To be taken too light!

.

Seen here are my two babies- the Alpha male Kalu, who for 10+ years has relentlessly been guarding our society, even often times when we've seen the security guards napping in the middle of night, Kalu has dutifully stood his guard. And a welcome here to his sweet doe-eyed girlfriend called by numerous names- Eva, Basanti, who was staying in the adjoining building, but was welcomed by Kalu to stay & be his freind when he wishes to play & the only second hand commander to shoo away any suspicious target. These targets are far & wide, be it some unruly outside Children's who in mischief pelt stones, or cats & kittens who coolly sit put on the compound walls, undeterred to their barks or lately these two monkeys, who found their way from the park.

Just a day back these monkeys kept the garden doggo gang on their tips, while they were yesterday seen in the adjoining club house section that's demarcated territory ruled by Honey/Fevicol & his gang, Choco & Noya, who were up all morning, barking at these two, while the monkeys enjoyed all the attention, sure keeping the dogs in check.

But today morning while Basanti was all barks, making sure that the monkeys leaves our building. Kalu was nonchalantly watching, only to take the baton from Basanti, while the monkeys kept them toying

It's amusing how this breed simply knows the civic sense of who belongs to the society, while who's an outsider. How Kalu even taught Basanti the social skills when she was still going through adolescence stage & would chase children's. Now she too just stays put except while chasing squirrels & cats.

This Great Indian mongrel is agile, aware, active, constantly guarding, even when the watchmen doze off to sleep. They are the avengers of each society, with whom children's share a special bond, while adults seem too lost to know, that their service to guard our society is no monkeying business after all.

Today Coco & I had our share of fun entertainment watch seeing these two relentlessly bark
