For those who are seen as Plague...See How Beautiful IsThe Light In Your Stars!

Where they see weakness There there’s strength! Through vulnerability & tears For My Spirit here Scares the hell out of those Who’ve lost Faith in themselves & hence the very light of me Understandably they fret! . Pain makes you a good listener, to all the emotions that shout out while the words are buried silent. I had been grappling with a word to describe what it is of how through your journey of chronic ailment you’re perceived. Up until now, when I saw a movie, Wonder, about a boys journey through facial difference & finding his place of acceptance in school & how the word coined for him was “Plague”, as other children’s struggle to accept him the way he was. Well with invisible pain too, the word is same. I’ve had far too many instances, where I’ve been shown I’m not accepted. Where my illness & pain is nothing short of a plague, that they may catch. I guess God very beautifully placed souls like me, amongst those who fear a life Seeof chronic pain. It is to allow hearts around you to be more open & empathetic. To be a lil bit more human. I’ve seen those unspoken words in their eyes, in the way they will take a step back from you, in the way like a sweet wrapper they’ll abandon you, yet that subtlety of abandonment crinkles & makes a loud noise of their fearful minds. The other day, when I was sad, as through 2decades of pain, I’ve experience far many such instance, I cried inconsolably & Atuls eyes wet seeing me break, while Coco got restless & cried along, yet consoling me to not loose heart. Later when I gathered calm, Atul responded saying, “you’re so strong, for going through it all & yet not letting your heart harden”. Yes people like me are here for a reason & that is to open up hearts, to teach others compassion & kindness. I know why they fret seeing me in pain & abandon & run away, for the light in my stars makes them aware of their dark-minds. Maybe someday these words shall pave way for others like me, of why God kept beings like me broken For those who are seen as Plague, know how magical your presence here on earth truly is, for your Spirit is verily Gods light in his dark world . ©️ Meghna/2020
