After 15 years of hibernation, I feel an urge to travel light!...By letting out all that, That I in my 'Silence' bottled up inside. Some thoughts, some sketches, pictures & drawings...woven as poetry; the way I look at life.

Between the dates of ones coming & going

A life was lived...

Touched, Caressed, Weeped

Yet a lot is lost in words

Where Silence quivers & makes your

Breath Breathe!

Love of ones parents can never be bought

For that Alone is Gods Gift!

.

I carry you in my heart & thoughts, as my essence to keep going on. Like me, you’ve experienced life’s unforgiving knocks, yet you Rose from every occasion that brought you down. Humility is a gift that comes when one is pushed down to ones knees, when one wishes for another what even he didn’t receive. You’ve always kept your heart open for things we needed to pursue, even though mom came from an art background, encouraged, nurtured us to follow our dreams, you, dad, were the wind beneath our wings. I can safely vouch that we three had the most open of upbringing. Yes there are flaws in each, yes I’ve seen people only remember more for the outspokenness that in pain at times left you angry. But you know how children’s carry their parents, they carry them as Gods Gifts & I know parents give their best, for those who are given a chance, to let souls come down as children’s on earth, only do so, after God entrusted them with a life to be kissed! Through death all flaws dwindle for those who are left behind into carrying their departed ones, through love, but only love feel. You reached out for you knew what is to be broken through life’s pain & heart. You know now dad, where is your Home, it’s right within our hearts!

Happy Birthday to you & always Grateful that you & mom are my parents

.

PS: to many kisses that Coco gave during your ailing health. The only thing that helps us carry on is Love & all these art works only echo that. For One can never pay back ones parents, but leave behind little pieces of them!
