What a heart he has been given…
A Heart that doesn’t ask much,
A Heart that sweetly shows Gratitude,
for receiving what may seem as crumbs,
There are souls such all around us,
But seldom do we see Or listen,
they wear their heart outside like a child,
Hence we think we ought to control them, For we have No Control over our lives
O what more to say of his Spirit
When some humans think they are the wire-pullers
Cause animals don’t deserve such care- O
See how I shall break him & rob him off his innocence
I’ll decide upon his fate & show how cruel life can get & when those hunger pangs he’ll be unable to withstand, I’ll let him plead & beg!
All the while filling upon my tummy as many a nights- I’ll see that he sleeps hungry, for it doesn’t move me a bit; those cries with his puppy eyes he pleads!
Yet every single day I see him frolicking around the park, making friends, sprinting across,
being the puppy he always was.
O what a heart he has been given for he doesn’t ask for much,
But in his being he gives mankind- A Lesson
that “One’s Innate Kindness- Another’s Indifference Can Never Rob!”
For how much ever that guard tries,
But he couldn’t steal away his Light!
Tho hungry he must have slept,
Yet he didn’t allow life to harden him, something that most humans walk about as tho they’ve Died much before they’re Dead!
Only recently its come to my knowledge that the guard in my building keeps this puppy hungry all night, inspite of his food packet left by a kind hearted lady who lives in the adjoining bldg as she feeds most strays around our area. The reason for keeping him hungry being few members in our society who wish to chuck the puppy out.
Tho I feed the puppy biscuits but I’ll make sure to feed him something more so as to help him sustain thru the night as he only receives the food post 6am
