After 15 years of hibernation, I feel an urge to travel light!...By letting out all that, That I in my 'Silence' bottled up inside. Some thoughts, some sketches, pictures & drawings...woven as poetry; the way I look at life.

I Firmly Believe there’s None Kinder than you!

Sai Ram All,

Sharing Bhagwan’s Prasadam of love. The concept of this painting started yesterday evening, while listening to a satsang on the story behind how Swamis penned this Beautiful poem of Prayer & longing of a devotees heart & send as a card to professor Kasturiji.

Nothing can add more to these beautiful words of pinning. Below is the poem that Swami wrote

I wish to share how Organically Beautiful Swamis process is from the inception of handing over an idea for any artwork, till it’s finished.

No sooner he gave the intuition to paint, as I was researching which form of our Beloved Swami shall I paint. He gave me a strong intuition, it has to be painted with Swami standing amongst a field of flowers, wearing a gown thats yellow like a sun, like a flame of candle through one’s dark nights.

Gracefully looking towards us. & even whilst I was researching which image to paint, I let Baba choose the next satsang to listen to, Sai-automatically play

As the image was zeroed down as to which form to paint, all the while listening to another satsang, of a lady devotees experiences of how Swami came to her through a dream, Where he’s standing amidst flowers & she would usually see swami in yellow

He instantly gave me a sign of confirmation that the intuition that I had received was solely given by him & that’s how he wanted it to be painted.

Though I started the work late evening itself, but there was not much progress due to my failing health.

So today morning once again I resumed.

I have been working on some other art project since last 2yrs on & off,

but whenever Swami gives some intuition to do some work for him, though all work is his,

I simply can’t hold back, there’s this restless urge to give that work my first priority.

And whilst this artwork was in process, once again in another satsang, it was shared how one devotee wanted to communicate something with Swami who was busy with his students & the devotee, waited for days. In spite of word being send by Swami, every now & then that it will take time, if you need to leave then please do.

But the devotee chose to wait.

Later Swami mentioned that if that devotee would have left & not waited for Bhagwan, then he would have not been alive.

Just cause he waited for Swami & didn’t choose the world over Swami, Swami took care of him.

In short if one has to choose between the worldly life & God- Always choose God!

Once again giving me a sign that he’s happy that I Chose to paint this work leaving the other one.

By late evening the work was almost nearing completion, with Swami wearing a gown as suns light, amidst flowers. But as to earlier thought to painting detailed flowers, something within guided me to paint them as pink blossoms almost like heaps of pink rose petals.

With a sky that shows both day & night,

So there’s a sun behind swami in the dark star lit night to express the words in poem -

“Tell me, is this not the reason why I’m yours thro’ day & night?”

What a beautiful emotion to express this pinning that a devotee should have while waiting for the lord; where the day meets night

As is my habit, I’d take my iPad & keep near swami in the temple, showing him & asking him- “I hope Baba you’re happy, is this what you wanted…”

& no sooner I prayed such & came to the outside room the next satsang that Swami played was of Dana Gillespie in which she was sharing about her experiences with Baba & the story behind the song- Shower the Rose Petals

I couldn’t believe my joy, of his sign of Blessing this work cause that’s what was painted here, blossoms of rose petals & what a way to finish the work of love by showering it all at his lotus feet!

I firmly believe Art comes from that higher source, cause in this entire cosmos there’s only One Artist & that’s Swami! All that is needed from us is to be available to him, in our hearts & he’ll do the rest

(This work is done digitally, as otherwise it would take weeks considering my health issues,

Though all hand painted not AI generated.

For I firmly believe each stroke through one’s heart2hand is devotion, something which AI shall always lack.)
