After 15 years of hibernation, I feel an urge to travel light!...By letting out all that, That I in my 'Silence' bottled up inside. Some thoughts, some sketches, pictures & drawings...woven as poetry; the way I look at life.

Like the veridien hues

That pop...

After A Schorching heat

On the breath of rains...

To Me...

That Comfort...That Shelter...

That Home is what “Parents-Give!”

& As Children’s...

May All Our Wishes....

Ever Be...

“For the Well-being of Them!”

For Whatever We Achieve Or Can Be....

Is Only Because God Gifted Us

“Our Parents!”

.

This Beautiful Painting is done by my mom as a love gesture of their journey & to my dads passing two years back on 5th May 2019. She had been painting for months & yesterday when she shared, I couldn’t help but pen my heartfelt seeing such a beautiful painting of them

To me this painting signifies the joy & vibrant personalities of both my parents.

They both have taught all three of us to be independent. My Dad have raised us with his unique characteristics that he received from his side of family- that was often vocal even in the sense of a loud voice that he imbibed, Yet very connected in hearts. Growing up with my siblings & cousins from his side was nothing short of having a big family, all there for one another. Eating, laughing even quarrelling amongst us cousins yet we were One & there was a sense of being brought up by a community of aunts & uncles, whereas my moms side were the quieter ones, more intellectual & creative energy, where words were seldom spoken, yet there was a strong sense of independence in that quietness.

I often say, I had the most beautiful childhood to have been nurtured in both ways & always given wings to fly.

Truly to Have Parents is A Gift Of God & May we never loose sight of their sacrifices & encouragement in our day to day livings.
