He asked me...
“Mom what is this...”
I said, Just a perception they call; “Boogeyman”
He further questioned “What does it mean”
I said, Seldom People are afraid to come near....For If they’ll Breathe the same Air as me...They too might contract the painful life I live!
& That very thought makes them
Fear & Flee!
He smiled & flung open his arms in an embrace; For now, he didn’t have to Share Me with anyone else!
As they say, when life meets you with challenges & the outcome is not in your control...
“Then Change your Perception!”
& Laugh it all out with A Song!
For the Boogeyman speaks more about those Who Fear...Then Love!
.
My Beloved says
“Every Lifetime is a mere Dream!”
The Blues that came upon you, too are my gifts!
I said but, pain often makes one flee,
As to them its nothing but tears that weep
He smiled & said- it’s just their “fears”,
That make them “forgetful of love”
& make monsters out of Blue
As pain is often seen misconstrued
The Boogeyman they fear outside
Is just a reflection of lovelessness within
Of their harrowed imaginary creations;
That make them Fear & Sink!
While Azure Deep in Blue, Thy spirit grows
For what they perceive as “Boogeyman”
There Breathes My Stars Of Faith, Love & Hope!
.
Through these 2decades of chronic pain, I’ve often encountered this boogeyman-mindset that creates monsters of someone’s pain
I Hope any pain that’s come upon you, only reminds you to love rather than hate, to grow rather than suffocate, to breathe rather than hurt!
I pray Pain only leaves you with more childlikeness in your heart & resilience to whatever it took from you as loss. & after all the horrors you’ve been through, your smile here, is only to sprinkle Stars of Hope
.
To Coco, who only sees me as himself, for he’s love & that’s all he sees, unlike the boogeyman-mindset that Fears & Frowns
PS: Why Boogeyman...not women...Cause Pain does not have Gender...Unless in the minds of those...who think...men through pain are more precious... .
