After 15 years of hibernation, I feel an urge to travel light!...By letting out all that, That I in my 'Silence' bottled up inside. Some thoughts, some sketches, pictures & drawings...woven as poetry; the way I look at life.

To all the painful moments in my life

Coco would Always Eventually Get his toys

But the toys were ‘Reserved’, must I say

For Every Occasion had its Rightful Place

The tine-tiny ones, With cotton surgically removed, Thrown across, So Cocos

Need for “Attention”, met its Due!

& what can I say about the Squeaky kinds

Chew on the rubber

To make some music rhyme

But rhyme can they with what note I’d say

Those high-pitched racket

Only to make our Ear-Drums- “Irritate”

& then to mention a ball one of its kind- “The Napkin Ball”

A clear Invention of A Creative mind

Coco would love to fetch & throw it in air

As it was built indigenously-

By his Mama’s loving hand

Simply tie 2ends of a napkin into a double knot & push the remaining edges in-between, Somehow To resemble A Ball

Maybe that’s what life with a pet-child  brings- To Find Happiness in life’s-Smallest-silly-nonsensical things

& then what could I add, About the Giant plush toy, For The Teddy sure earned its place, Rightfully in our lives

He was a head taller then Coco, when they stood & sat regally besides the toy box, Until it was dragged around & swayed like a Helicopter (by Coco)

Outside of our bedroom

That’s the toy coco fetched to show

How happy he was,

If we took him to some New place,

So he cud sniff away his nose

Or if he’s just had a bowl of Boiled- Mashed Sweet potatoes

Some yogurt, Icecream Or Paneer

One of his many cherished treato’s

For isn’t that what A Pet teaches

To  Acknowledge & show Gratitude,

For all of Life’s-Often Overlooked Goodies

But the Teddy wasn’t just for that

For Tis’ was One special toy

A Reminder- That Even Through

life’s-tough moments;

Keep Going & Don’t Sweat!

To me if you’d ask…

“What did this teddy stand for…”

Id Say, “God in all sweetness, Wearing a Lil-Pink-Bow!”

For that’s the place Coco gave to it

When he saw me, (his mom) in unbearable pain crying, As he’s tossed around this Giant Bear, Only to see me

Break into Peals of Laughter,

Through times of pain tiring

Tis’ is the story behind Cocos most toys,

Lest I forget; The Octi, The Turtle Dog, The King Kong & the humble Barley boy

During the last Pain Flare episode, there are no words to describe how I missed Coco.

Since this was the FIRST Flare-up episode since Coco left in April, that left me unable to speak for a month & half along with unable to use my hands

Now the teddy sits on an empty bed along with Coco's other favourite toys,

This artwork is my tribute to those moments of love & happiness thru extreme pain
